GR — General Relativity
COSMIC SCALE · solar-system → 10²⁶ m
Gravity as spacetime geometry. GR is the reference case of what the ICT program demands of every theory: a genuine geometric representation. At this scale ICT makes no new claims — GR sits at the top of the Fundamental-Formula slider as the geometric gold standard.
Governing Equation — Einstein Field Equations
Gμν + Λgμν = (8πG / c⁴) Tμν
Standing assumption — STIFFNESS (open, 20 years)
Throughout, I have assumed — 20 years wrong so far — that a decent string theorist could add stiffness to the formulation, and account for finitary curvature / energy to oppose the Riemannian: sum of particles == global curvature, opposite.
This remains an open call. Advice and collaboration invited.
Current Problems at the GR Scale
(really rough working list — draft, to be refined)
- Dark energy — what is the cosmological constant Λ physically?
- Dark matter vs. modified gravity at galactic scales
- Singularities and the black-hole information paradox
- No accepted quantum theory of gravity (Planck regime is gedanken-only for ICT)
Scope: ICT scope note: reference scale, plus one standing open assumption (above). Constructivist work applies at QCD / QWD only.
